The licence is displayed in a prominent place in the facility, including any terms or conditions of the licence, and including the name of the manager. [CCLR Sec. 11(1)(2); CCALA Sec.7(c)]
Observation. Licensing observed the facility license to be posted on the inside of a storage cabinet door, located inside the kitchen area. A discussion was had with the Manager in regards to the license being displayed in a prominent place, where families can see.
- PHYSICAL, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHING / EnvironmentNon-critical
A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].
Observation. Licensing observed the following: - Duct tape is being used as a temporary repair for the foosball table. Tape has started to peel and no longer easy to clean. - Staff informed that a disinfectant is being used for equipment and materials. Soap and water is being used for tables prior to snack as cleaning. Licensing discussed the importance of having a two step cleaning and sanitizing process. A resource is included with the report. - Refrigerator temperature is at 2 Degrees Celsius, good.

Observation. Manager provided a copy of the Parent Handbook that consisted of policies and procedures. Upon review, several pieces of required policies were not located. A resource will be sent with the report as requested.

Observation. Licensing observed several children to be missing emergency contacts that are not the parent, and/or immunization status on file.

The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. *CCFL observed a Lego table with much of the paint worn off exposing the wood underneath. The creates a space for bacteria growth and this item is no longer in good repair. *Several painted poles and trims around windows/doors were observed to have large paint chips and are sharp in some areas. These areas of the facility are no longer in good repair.

There is current log of minor incidents, illnesses and unexpected events, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H. [CCLR Sec. 56 (1)(f)]
Observation. *The logbook has not had an entry since 2017. A discussion was held as to the purpose and importance of the logbook. CCFL to provide a resource.
