  Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

  Observation. Licensing observed no record in place to account for fire drills occurring for the month of December 2024.

  For each child requiring extra support, the licensee keeps a current care plan showing the required information. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)(2)]

  Observation. Licensing observed the following: Two anaphylaxis care plans that had not been reviewed and updated once a year with one expired Epi Pen. One child who's registration form indicated they use an inhaler for emergencies. No asthma care plan was in place.

  A record for each child containing the name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(d)]

  Observation. Licensing observed that some children's files did not contain an emergency contact other then the parent.

  Staff are trained in the implementation of the fire drill system and the emergency plan, including the use of any equipment noted in the fire drill system and emergency plan. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing observed that the fire extinguisher required a service.
