    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. Licensing observed some wear on the walls in the main activity space as well as in the children's bathroom. The Licensee is advised to plan for a re-painting of the surfaces. Licensing observed the outside decking as having deteriorated whereas the boards under the non-slip surface appear to be giving way due to wood rot. The decking forms the approach to the main entrance to the Preschool facility.

    Observation. Licensing observed a life-threatening care plan with a nonprescribed medication for one child. The medication container does not have a labelled with the child’s name/dosage/time, or instruction from the physician.
