    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. *The orange mat in the dramatic play area and the orange couch and chair are showing wear and tear. The vinyl has come off in some areas making these items porous and no longer easy to clean.

    Observation. *During today's visit the Educators informed CCFL that even though there is a washroom outdoors, sometimes the boys are allowed to relieve themselves on a tree in the playground. This is not hygienic as it does not allow for proper handwashing and creates the possibility of contamination.

    Observation. *CCFL observed the blind cords in the main activity area to be loose, unsecured and accessible to children in some areas.

    Observation. *CCFL observed several of the children's emergency cards requiring a photo. Some of the emergency cards were missing photos and some had photos but they were too small, blurry or water stained. *Some of the children had both out of town and local contacts listed as the same person.
