Observation. Licensing Officer observed that there were 5 children registered all under the age of 48 months. One child was under the age of 12 months. This is a contravention to Schedule E ( CCLR Sec. 34(2)(a)

Observation. In discussion with the Licensee, it was determined that the children are not receiving adequate daily active play.

Observation. Licensing Officer observed on the deck that the children use to get to the outdoor play space, a basket with cord/wire that also was attached to the railing. This has the potential to be a strangulation hazard.

Observation. Licensing Officer observed in a log book that the children are not provided with daily outdoor play periods.

Observation. Licensing Officer observed that the Licensee's own two children were not being signed in or out on a daily basis. Licensing Officer explained that the Licensee's two children were counted in ratio, therefore required to be signed in and out. Licensing Officer observed two out of the five children's files did not contain emergency contacts, and one child's file did not contain a digital image.
