A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].
Observation. Licensing observed a bi-fold closet that was unsecured and posed a risk of injury in the front gross motor room. Licensing observed a bottle of bleach and water solution accessible on a bottom shelf in the children's washroom. Additionally, a bottle of Pine-Sol was found in a bathtub in a staff washroom adjacent to the children's nap space. Although staff stated that children do not access the staff washroom, the washroom was unlocked, and the bathtub was accessible. Licensing requested that the Pine-Sol be secured and made inaccessible. Items were secured during inspection.- CDI
