A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

Observation. Licensing reviewed 9 children's files and the following was observed: - 2 children's files were missing an MSP nr - 5 children's files were missing immunization record

Corrective action. Manager said they will review and update the children's files.

Observation. Licensing reviewed 9 children's files and one child's file was missing a date of enrollment.

Corrective action. Manager will review children's files and will update them.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

Observation. Licensing reviewed 9 children's files and two children's files were missing a dr name.

Corrective action. Manager will review the children's files and update them.

A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (a) a criminal record check for the person.

Observation. Criminal Record Check on file is not site specific for one or more employees.

Corrective action. Manager said they will update the staff files.

A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (f) evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs.

Observation. Immunization status was not obtained for one or more employees.

Corrective action. Manager said they will update staff files.

A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry. (Educator or assistant certificate validation)

Observation. Validation of ECE certificate not on file for one or more employees.

Corrective action. Manager said they will update the files.
