A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Licensing observed the following: - dog feces in the outdoor play area -propane attached to a fire table accessible to children in care -a bug zapper plugged in with cords across the deck posing a tripping hazard -a fountain with continuous water flowing from the reservoir -a dog was located in the outdoor play area -cubbies located along a wall had foam under the front but were not secured with the potential to tip if pulled.
Corrective action. Ensure that the facility is safe and the outdoor area is available without hazards to the child care program at all hours the program is open

Licensing observed the following during this inspection: -sunscreen bottles are easily accessible to children -an adult-sized rake is accessible in the yard -a vacuum and the cord is stored in the nap room. Licensing discussed securing loose cords with the staff. -cubbies are not secured to the wall, posing a tipping hazard
Corrective action. Please ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are in care.
