A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. Some nap mats are torn on the corners. The outdoor toys are dirty and grimy. There is a broken door in an outdoor playhouse. There's still water pooled in a plant pot and some areas in the outdoor play space.
Corrective action. The manager said she will replace the mats and clean the toys. The broken door will be removed. The still water will be cleaned out.
