A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. The following was observed in the outdoor play space: -Numerous fence boards on the west side of the yard have begun to rot and are no longer secured. There are multiple nails exposed. -Some boards on the shed are beginning to rot and no longer secured. Insulation is exposed. -The slide has cracks in it which could pose a pinching concern.
Corrective action. Ensure that the facility is in good repair at all times.
