A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. Some of the baseboards all throughout the facility, particularly in the nap room, have dents and paint chips, exposing the wood.
Corrective action. The manager said that they will make necessary repairs.

A licensee must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.
Observation. The hot water in the bathroom accessible to children measured over 49° Celsius.
Corrective action. The manager said they will check the hot water temperature maintenance.

A licensee must display in a prominent place in the community care facility the certificate, or a copy of the certificate, of any educator or assistant employed to work in the community care facility. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One of the staff ECE-A certificate wasn't displayed.
Corrective action. The manager displayed the certificate during the inspection.

Observation. Upon review of several children's records, two were missing emergency contacts.
Corrective action. The manager said that they will discuss this with the parents and record this information.
