    A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (f) a log of minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events involving children, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H.

    Observation. The last log on their logbook is back in 2024.

    Corrective action. Licensing discussed this thoroughly with the licensee during this inspection. The licensee said that she will start recording minor incidents in their logbook.

  • RECORDS AND REPORTING

    A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

    Observation. Upon review of several children's records, one is missing an emergency contact.

    Corrective action. Licensing discussed this thoroughly with the licensee during this inspection. The licensee said that she will have a discussion with the parents and record this information.

    A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.

    Observation. Licensing observed that the emergency kit had very few food and water. It is recommended that the facility have at least 72 hours of emergency supplies which includes food and water enough for children enrolled.

    Corrective action. The licensee said she will make sure to add more to the kit and ensure it's enough for all children.
