  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. LO observed and discussed the follow with the Manager: - No bleach (sanitizing/disinfecting spray bottle) within the washroom to wipe change pad - Portable heater was on and accessible to the children within the main play area - Wooden slats of the crib are not securely assembled ; 2 slats are coming off

  Corrective action. Ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are in care

  Observation. Washroom's sink water temperature measured 55.7 degree Celsius.

  Corrective action. Ensure that heated water accessible to children is no more than 49 degree Celsius.

  Observation. Emergency Supplies are insufficient to implement the emergency plan.

  Corrective action. Ensure that sufficient supplies are available on site.

  A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.

  Observation. The cupboard under the sink has a lock that is broken and cleaning supplies are stored here.

  Corrective action. The Manager will provide a written plan.

  Observation. The water temperature at the washroom sink is 56.7 degrees celcius.

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

  Observation. A random sampling of children's files indicates one was missing the name and number of a doctor or clinic.

  Corrective action. The Manager will provide a written plan.
