  Observation. Licensing observed the following: - diaper cream accessible - garbage bags accessible - cleaning solution accessible

  Observation. A toy/storage shelf needs to be secured in 3-5 nap room.

  Corrective action. Manager said that they will anchor it.

• HYGIENE AND COMMUNICABLE DISEASE

  A licensee must establish a program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene.

  Observation. In Multi-age care there was no space between children sleep mats. Children could roll over to the bed that is next to them.

  Corrective action. Staff said that they will change their practice to place the sleep mats to avoid cross contamination of germs.

  Observation. - The cubby in the upstairs 3-5 room is a tipping hazard - the small sofa in the I/T room is showing stains

  Corrective action. The Licensee contact will submit a corrective action plan

  Observation. The dishes in the multi age room are not being cleaned and sanitized using the 3 sink method or dishwasher to ensure effective sanitization

  A licensee must supply equipment, furniture and supplies that are (a) of sturdy and safe construction, easy to clean and free from hazards.

  Observation. There was a table and a shelf in the multi age room that is showing signs of wear and tear; the paint is chipped in areas and this cannot be sanitized properly.

  Corrective action. Ensure eqiupment is in good repair

  Observation. the hot water temperature at the sink in the infant/toddler washroom was above 49 degrees

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

  Observation. A random review of children's files indicated that one child was missing the name and number of a doctor or medical clinic

  Corrective action. Ensure to have this information on file for each child
