A licensee must establish a program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene.
Observation. LO observed and discussed the following with the staff: Tables were not sanitized before using ( for children's snack).
Corrective action. Ensure that all high touched surfaces are appropriately cleaned and sanitized.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.
Observation. 2 children were not signed out when they were picked up by their parents.
Corrective action. Ensure to keep accurate record of time of arrival, departure and absence for each child.

Observation. School Age, incl. K or Gr. 1 - Staff to Child ratio not maintained. (RA) At arrival there was one responsible adult with 17 children. The Licensee arrived 35 minutes later.
Corrective action. Ensure the facility maintains adequate staff to child ratio as per the Child Care Licensing Regulations Schedule E.
