  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.

  Observation. There were a few days in April and May where children were not signed out.

  Corrective action. The manager will make sure that children are signed in and signed out everyday.

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

  Observation. 2 of 5 children's files did not have medical practitioner information.

  Corrective action. The manager will update the files with parents.

• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. In the outdoor play space the fencing on the north and south sides are wobbly and not secure. There are multiple boards that are rotten and breaking away from other boards. There are exposed nails.

  Corrective action. The Director stated that she will take immediate action to secure the fencing and ensure that no nails are exposed. Following that she will look into fence replacement.
