Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that (b) the ratio of employees to children attending a community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A staff identified working regularly in one of the preschool programs did not have the correct qualifications. The LO reviewed the requirements with the manager and the facility coordinator submitted an updated staffing plan and exemption application to the LO prior to this inspection report being composed.
Corrective action. Ensure the staff to child ratio is no less than permitted in Schedule E of the regulations.
