  A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].

  Observation. No written records emergency drill for 2025.

  Corrective action. Licensee will document all drills conducted.

• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.

  Observation. The Licensee operates AM and PM School age care. A group of children ages 2-5 years old attend in the middle of the day between 9-2. Attendance records to not reflect departure time for AM group when children leave for school.

  Corrective action. Licensee will update the attendance record systems to reflect number of children present in care at a time.

• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.

  Observation. Washroom tap water temperature was measured at 54 degree Celsius.

  Corrective action. Licensee will use the temperature control tool to bring the temperature to 49 degree Celsius or below.

  A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.

  Observation. The fire extinguisher required servicing on or before September 14, 2021.

  Corrective action. Please ensure fire extinguisher is serviced annually.
