Observation. During inspection, Licensing reviewed 8 children files, and 1 of the children's files is missing an updated immunization record
Corrective action. Manager explains that she will obtain a copy of the immunization record from parents.

A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.
Observation. There were numerous hazardous substances accessible to children during today's inspection, including bottles on insect killer outside, cleaning supplies on the kitchen floor and hand sanitizer at the front entrance.
Corrective action. Ensure all hazardous substances on site are not accessible to the children.

Observation. The emergency food in the facilities emergency supply kit have expired.

The licensee must (b) review the care plan at least once each year with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation. There is a care plan in place for a child in care that has not been reviewed with the parent within the past year. The child's medication has also expired and will need to be replaced.
Corrective action. Ensure care plans are reviewed annually with a parent to ensure the plan is up to date and current and medication has not expired.
