  Observation. The name of the manager is displayed on the top of the upper kitchen cabinet and is unable to be seen. The displayed manager information was moved to a lower shelf in a prominent place. The manager’s name must be posted in a prominent location to identify the person in charge of the day-to-day operations of the facility. Corrected during the inspection. Several educator's certificates are not displayed in a prominent place. Displaying educator's certificates promotes transparency and accountability in a facility, identifying the staff name and qualification they hold. Submit by May 13, 2026, confirmation that all educator's certificates are displayed in a prominent location.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. The photo on several children’s emergency card is outdated and no longer bears a good likeness to the child. Ensure there is a current photo or digital image of each child that can be used to identify the child in an emergency. Submit by May 13, 2026, confirmation that photos or digital images have been updated. Some educator's certificates are not available to be inspected as they are unable to be located. Staff records however, indicate that certificate validation has been completed. Ensure facility records are kept in a single location at the facility, and available to be reviewed upon request. Submit by, May 13, 2026, confirmation that the missing certifications are on site.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. A selection of employee records were reviewed, some were found to be missing criminal record checks, and one was missing the employees immunization status.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Some child records were reviewed and found to be missing required information such as medical insurance number, the name and phone number for a medical practitioner, and start dates.

  Observation. The Licensee has appointed a new Manager, however Licensing has not been informed.

  Observation. Employee files were checked, two employees were missing evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization control program and one person was missing their Criminal Review Check.

  Observation. The medication form did not require employees to record the amount of medication administered. There were no daily, monthly, or annual inspection logs being completed for the outdoor play spaces.

• C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The Licensee has an emergency evacuation box; however there were not sufficient supplies for 20 children. A written repayment agreement is needed as parents pre-pay for care. This statement must address what will happen to parent fees should the facility close unexpectedly for a period of time. This statement must be provided to parents at the time or pre-payment. As per the Active Play Standards, a written Active Play/Screen time policy is required to be in place and provided to parents.

  Observation. Testing is currently being conducted. Please provide results once completed.
