  Observation. LO observed bleach bottles and other cleaning supplies stored in a cupboard underneath the bathroom sink. The cupboard door had a child safety lock installed, however during this visit the safety lock was not in use.

  Observation. LO observed an activity board attached to the fence in the outdoor play area. Wood at the bottom of the board was chipped and peeling.

  Observation. One staff on site had a criminal record check that was issued to a different facility.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. LO observed that a diaper change mat in the washroom is beginning to show signs of wear and tear, with a small hole in the cover. It also appears either soiled or stained around the seams.

  Observation. LO observed that one child in care did not have records on file, and 2 children in care did not have emergency contacts on file.
