Observation. Licensing observed cleaning supplies in a lower unlocked cabinet accessible to children.

Current policies and procedures are kept as required . [CCLR Sec. 56 (1) and CCALA 19]

Observation. Licensing observed polices and procedures were unavailable.

There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]

Observation. Licensing observed the facility did not have an emergency plan in place.

The licensee does not keep a current care plan for each child requiring extra support. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)] ; Care plans are not reviewed at least once a year with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent. [CCLR Sec. 58(2)(b)]

Observation. Licensing observed: - two children who required care plans did not have care plans in place. - one child’s care plan had not been updated since April 2025.

There is current log of minor incidents, illnesses and unexpected events, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H. [CCLR Sec. 56(1)(f)]

Observation. Licensing observed a current log of minor incidents is not being maintained.

The licensee keeps a current record for each child showing the information required. [CCLR Sec. 57]

Observation. Licensing observed that registration records for ten children could not be located.

Prior to employing staff the manager has met with each person and has obtained the appropriate documentation. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)]

Observation. Licensing observed that only one of the four staff members had appropriate documentation.
