    Observation. Notes from previous visit: Licensing observed the following in the outdoor play area: - broken and/or rusted toys and tricycles stored in one area of the yard. - splintered wood ties along pathway - rain water leaking from the second floor eavesdrops - large rubber tire cracked and not in good repair. The tire had broken plastic rockers stored within. - a piece of wood plank is being used to cover a cracked piece of flooring on a plastic climber - fence has panels loose or broken with exposed nails - clutter and toys stored in undercover area - heavy outdoor toys stored on shelves (tipping hazard) During today's visit LOs observed that several of the noted issues have been corrected, however the following issues must be addressed: - outdoor toy storage area continues to be cluttered and in need of a cleanup/disposal of old or broken toys and equipment - a tall plastic shelf unit that is unsecured and wobbly - metal railing stored in one corner of the backyard - splintered wood ties along pathway - soiled cloth stored on toy basketball hoop (removed during inspection) - patio umbrella bases stored on their sides near playhouse

    There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]

    Observation. Notes from previous inspection: Licensing observed that emergency supplies are kept in the heavily cluttered storage area, making the supplies difficult to access. Licensing observed within the emergency supplies, the following items were expired: - seaweed snack expired June 8/22 - Welch's candy Licensing observed that there does not appear to be adequate food and emergency supplies kept on site. Licensing observed the first aid kit contained the following medicated items: - Antiseptic towelette - Alcohol swabs - Antiseptic U.S.P prep pad medium - sting relief These items should not be used on the children without permission from parents/guardians. During today's visit LOs observed that emergency supplies have been replenished and are more easily accessible to staff. LOs observed that the first aid kit contained medicated pads, which should not be used on the children without permission from parents/guardians.

    Observation. Licensing observed that a storage area adjacent to the main play space is accessible to children - it is separated by a three-piece curtain. Within this storage area, Licensing observed books, toys and various materials stored on all surfaces including the top of the stove, inside the oven, and on every countertop space. Licensing observed several children follow a staff into the storage area and bump into a large piece of plywood that had been placed on top of a freezer.
