  Observation. Licensing observed the Licensee was not able to provide a written statement of the Licensee's policy on behavioral guidance.

  A record for each child containing the daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(c)]; A record for each child containing the name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(d)]

  Observation. Licensing observed when reviewing information gathered for each child, the files where missing information regarding, emergency contact phone numbers, medical practitioner contact phone numbers, complete attendance records for each day and consent to call a medical practitioner or ambulance in case of an accident or illness.

  Observation. LO reviewed a sampling of the children's records and observed that an immunization status is not kept for 3 children.

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. LO observed medication for a child with a life threatening allergy did not have a Request for Administration of Medication form completed.

  The licensee does not keep a current care plan for each child requiring extra support. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)]

  Observation. LO observed that a current care plan is not kept for 1 child.

  Observation. LO observed that two children who had an EpiPen did not appear to have an Allergy Emergency Action Plan in place.

  Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

  Observation. LO observed that documentation of fire or emergency drills is not kept.
