Observation. Fire drill records were not available for Nov 2022-Feb 2023 (30 mos-SA program) and Sep 2022-Feb 2023 (SASG program).
Corrective action. Please ensure that fire drill records are practiced and recorded monthly.

Observation. Photographs of the child were not available for 2 children's files. The emergency consent files in the backpack were reviewed and 2 additional files did not contain photos.
Corrective action. Please ensure that children's files are complete.

A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry. (Educator or assistant certificate validation)
Observation. One staff file did not have their ECEA certificate validated. The Manager attempted to obtain this validation but the website produced an error message and was unable to validate the certificate.
Corrective action. Please ensure staff ECE/A certificates are validated using the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry.
