  Observation. Licensing observed the evacuation drill has not been recorded

  Corrective action. The Manager said the evacuation drill is practiced yearly but not recorded.

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry. (Educator or assistant certificate validation)

  Observation. Licensing reviewed 3 staff files and all files did not contain evidence of a verified licence to practice.

  Corrective action. Please ensure that educator licences are verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry.

  Observation. The Manager stated that Fire drills and emergency drills were completed but not recorded.

  Corrective action. Ensure all children's records are current.

  Observation. One employee file did not have all required documents on site. The Manager stated that they are at the other location.

  Corrective action. Ensure that all records referred to in section 56-58 are stored in a single place in the community care facility.
