    Observation. Licensing reviewed three staff files and observed that record of work history was missing for one staff.

    Corrective action. Please obtain record of work history for staff prior to employment.

    A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (a) a criminal record check for the person.

    Observation. Licensing reviewed three staff files and observed that a criminal record check clearance letter was missing for one staff. Staff advised that the manager submitted the application for her CRC and that she will not be working alone with children pending delivery of her clearance letter. This is a repeat contravention as it was noted on the last routine inspection.

    Corrective action. Please obtain criminal record clearance letters prior to employment.
