    Observation. Licenses noted the following: - Cleaning supplies, including a broom, mop, and dustpan, were found hanging in the children's washroom. Where the items situated could poses a potential hygiene hazard, as items were at children's height. - A broken shelf was identified in the material shelves area, which could potentially pose an injury hazard to children. - The heating outlet in the art area was observed excessive heat, and it was accessible to children.

    Heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius. [CCLR Sec. 47]

    Observation. The water temperature was tested higher than 49 Celsius in the children's washroom.

    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. Licensing officer observed the following: - Damaged areas on the wall, sink counters, sink cabinets and flaky chipped paint are accessible to children in the children's washroom. - The outdoor ground surfacing was not the best fit with the weather conditions and material available in the area - The protective surfacing does not appear to provided to reduce the risk of injury from falls
