Observation. A review of attendance records showed that some times of departure were missing. This information is required in order to reflect the numbers of children present in case of emergency, or parent inquiry. A system for ensuring children's times of departure are recorded as they happen is required. The Manager explained that daily inspections of the outdoor play space are always completed, but are not always recorded. A system for ensuring the logging of all outdoor play space inspections and maintenance of the play space is required.

Observation. Children's records are missing a place to indicate the date on which a child stops attending the facility.

Observation. Observations: Licence, ECE and Assistant Certificates posted, Licensing was notified of the change in manager. Contravention: The Managers name needs to be displayed in a prominent place.

Observation. Written policies and procedures in place and available for staff to review. Fire Drill was missed once in the past operational year. Emergency response plan practiced and recorded appropriately.

Observation. Observations: Log of minor injuries/incidents unexpected events updated regularly, play space inspections recorded appropriately Contraventions: Occasionally children's departure times are missing from the attendance record Some children's records are missing a Doctors Name and/or phone number, medical insurance plan number or indication of the child's sex.

Observation. Observation Inside environment is free from hazards. Hot water measured below 49°C and fridge below 4°C Contraventions: There is a hand painted yellow decorative sign on the gate that says "Please close the gate". Much of the paint has peeled off the sign. One of the large sliding gates that face the field has frozen in place and cannot be opened or closed. There is a large gap between the end of the gate and where it should meet the fence.

Observation. Manager has a system in place to ensure completeness of staffing files. Criminal record checks are current, however are addressed to other agencies. Manager was able to confirm certificates were validated, however evidence of the validation is missing. Some staff files have only one reference.
