• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Minor accidents have been recorded, however illnesses have not. Any contact with parents regarding an illness or injury is required to be recorded by the facility. Notify licensing about how you choose to record illnesses.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Hot water in the children's bathroom measured greater than 49 degrees Celsius. A method of reducing the temperature of water that children have access to is required.

• C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Observations: Written policies and procedures in place and available for staff to review. Contravention: 11/12 months of fire drills were practiced and recorded Emergency Plan was last practiced in October 2022. It is a requirement that the plan be practiced once per year. - this item is considered as corrected as prior to the completion of the inspection report, the Manager provided email confirmation that the yearly emergency plan was practiced and recorded on the 10th November 2022. In addition a corrective action plan was recieved to ensure that fire drills will be practiced and recorded each month.

  Observation. Observations: System in place to ensure children's records are complete. FLO tested system and found child files to be complete, log of minor injuries/incidents unexpected events updated regularly, play space inspections recorded appropriately, Contravention Occasionally children's departure times are missing - this item is considered as corrected as prior to the completion of the inspection report, the Manager has provided a corrective action plan to ensure that departure times will be consistently recorded.

  Observation. There were two sections of fence near the storage shed that have gaps in excess of 3.5".
