Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that (b) the ratio of employees to children attending a community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E.

Observation. No ECE on premise after 2:30pm.

Corrective action. The manager said she is waiting for her ECE certificate and will apply for an exemption with licensing.

A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (a) a criminal record check for the person.

Observation. Criminal Record Check not obtained for one staff.

Corrective action. The manager said she will apply for the staff criminal record check.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.

Observation. During inspection licensing observed that the departure time was not recorded on several days.

Corrective action. Ensure that attendance times are accurate.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

Observation. During the routine inspection licensing reviewed 8 children's files and the following was observed: - one children's file was missing an MSP number - one children's file was missing a record of immunization

Corrective action. Manager said that she will address the missing items from the file at pick up with the parents.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility.

Observation. During the routine inspection licensing reviewed 8 children's files and two children's files were missing a date of enrollment.

Corrective action. Manager said that she will review the enrollment date and will add them to the files.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

Observation. During the routine inspection licensing reviewed 8 children's files and one child's file was missing a doctor's name.

Corrective action. Manager will address this item at pick up with the parents.
