    Observation. The fire extinguisher accessible to the Preschool was due for service in December 2023. There was no drinking water available to respond to or recover from an emergency.

    Corrective action. Ensure that fire extinguishers are serviced annually and that there is food and water is available to recover and respond to an emergency.

  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. LO observed and discussed the following with the Manager: - Outdoor play space: 7 inch gap under the wooden gate (by the shed); any holes or opening must be smaller than 3.5 inch. -Weaken fence, started to lean and rot. Manager said that the whole fence will be replaced in the near future.

    Corrective action. Please ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are in care.
