    Observation. Licensing observed one of the bathrooms is inaccessible due to the amount of equipment and supplies stored. - Licensing observed that the refridgerator had a temperature of 6.4 degress Celsius. Staff confirmed it is used for the GCC (30 months to SA) program.

    Corrective action. Licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are in care. - Licensee must ensure that the fridge temperature is under 4 degress celsius.

    Observation. Fire Extinguisher has been overdue for annual service. Licensing observed the fire extinguisher was expired. - Licensing reviewed the emergency kits, the kits had expired food and there was not enough water for 72 hours for each child.

    Corrective action. Licensee must ensure that the fire extinguishers are serviced annually. - Licensee must ensure that all emergency kits have enough supplies, food, and water that is not expired.

The staff have made Licensing aware that their secondary location was unavailable and other locations the facility put forward of the gym and the library were also not available for use. The maximum number of children the facility had space for was 20.

    Observation. LO observed and discussed the following with the Manager today: Hand Hygiene: Children are using their own hand towel from home to dry their hands after each hand washing. These hand towels were being re-used throughout the day and stored in each child's cubbie. This does not promote healthy hygiene practice. LO discussed about few different options today, e.g. hand dryer, disposable paper towel, single use hand towels).
