A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.

Observation. The fire extinguisher was not serviced annually. Emergency supplies are expired and are insufficient to implement the emergency plan.

Corrective action. The Manager said she will ensure to maintain the emergency plan.

A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].

Observation. There were no records available for review to identify that the fire drills and the emergency drill were being practiced and implemented. The Manager said the last fire drill conducted was in May 2025, but was not recorded.

Corrective action. The Manager will ensure to have a system in place to implement and document the emergency plan.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

Observation. Review of 3 childen's file noted 1 missing the medical insurance plan number.

Corrective action. The Manager said she will contact the parent to obtain the information.

Observation. The facility began operation in August according to enrolment, however a monthly fire drill was not completed and recorded.

Corrective action. Please ensure to complete and record fire drills.
