Observation. The required monthly fire drills were not recorded for the three months previous to Licensing's inspection. Through a discussion it was discovered that the fire drills were practiced but not recorded. The fire drills were recorded at the time of Licensing's inspection.

Observation. The Licensee’s system for ensuring that employee files contain all of the legislated requirements was noted to be ineffective. One staff record is missing the following: immunization status, criminal record check, certification and validation.

Observation. All children's files were missing a physical description that can be used to identify the child in an emergency.

Observation. One staff had no required records on site and no evidence of a current clear criminal record check. Another staff had incomplete records (no evidence of training etc.) Please provide evidence to confirm theses records are complete and ensure copies are kept on site.

Observation. Child records are incomplete with some missing care card numbers and doctor name and phone number. Most files reviewed did not have record of immunization. The records do not provide written evidence regarding release of child to someone other than parent and written evidence of consent to call medical practitioner or ambulance. Most records do not have a space for parents to note if there are any persons not authorized access to the child. It appears there was an update to the program used to obtain this information and some of the required information has dropped off of the forms.

Observation. The children are currently using a shared bowl of water and individual wet cloths to clean their hands prior to eating snack. Please ensure running water and soap are used prior to eating food. All other practices appear to be adequate.
