Observation. - The sandbox used by the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program needs to be covered when not in use. *Correction date: December 4, 2023 - Ensure medicated diaper creams are kept inaccessible to the children in care. *Correction date: December 1, 2023. - Hazardous cleaning products were found accessible to the children attending the Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) programs. *Resolved during the inspection. - Ensure that a minimum 6 inch depth of resilient material is maintained underneath swings and at the bottom of slides in the outside play yard. *Resolved during the inspection. The Licensing Officer and the facility staff discussed how the children who attend the GCC (30 Mos to SA) program and who are between the ages of 30 and 36 months are provided with a separate sleeping area located away from any activity area during rest time as per Sec 15 (3) of the Child Care Licensing Regulation.

Observation. It was observed today that one "gold" chair is in disrepair with torn fabric exposing the foam. This could present a hazard to young children and needs to be made safe. The chair was removed during the inspection.

Observation. A full review of staff files was conducted resulting in the following items unavailable in some staff files: - ECE/A certificate verifications - Resumes - Responsible Adult training documents - References - Evidence that the person has complied with the province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs

Observation. A review of children's records resulted in the following items unavailable in some child files: - Medical insurance number - Immunization status - Medical practitioner name and phone number The time of arrival was not complete in the preschool (30 month to school age) program at time of inspection.

Observation. Some plastic toys located in the outdoor play space are broken leaving sharp edges exposed.
