• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon review of records it was noted that the Licensee's Criminal Record Check is expired, and needs to be updated. Licensing Officer will have information sent to Licensee to renew documentation.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records it was noted that more than one requires a care plan for a noted condition. Ensure all child records are complete and that care plans for allergies, medical, developmental, behavioural or physical conditions are developed with input from the parent and that care plans are reviewed at least annually, and updated as necessary. Also discussed during inspection that Other Identifying Information such as height and weight must be updated as necessary through-out the child's term of registration in the facility.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Various cleaning products were accessible to children in lower cupboards in the washroom and laundry room. This was corrected during inspection.

• C10.2 - Are children supervised, and are employee to children ratios maintained?Critical

  Observation. A procedure in the facility does not allow for continuous supervision of all children together during nap time. Discussed options with Licensee during inspection.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records it was noted that one did not have a care card number, or the doctor's name and number, and one did not have immunization status. Minor Incident Log, Fire Drill and Emergency Preparedness records, and outdoor maintenance log, which all appear complete.
