  Observation. The educator and assistant Licences to Practice issued by the BC ECE Registry are not displayed at the facility. Displaying certificates promotes compliance and trust. Submit by March 20, 2026 confirmation all employee educator and assistant certificates are posted in a prominent place in the facility.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Hazardous cleaning products in the upstairs kitchen area are stored in a lower cupboard without a child safety lock, making them accessible to children. Staff removed these cleaners and stored them out of children's reach. The systems, including child safety locks, were reviewed to ensure ongoing compliance. Hazardous cleaning products are dangerous to children, and it is essential to keep them out of their reach to prevent health risks. Corrected during inspection and no action required.

  Observation. The required information for the physical description of a child was missing in a child record reviewed. The Licensee's system for recording the information was reviewed and the Licensee will revise to ensure compliance is maintained. Submit by the follow up date requested, confirmation the non compliance has been addressed.
