    Observation. The Licensee is currently not informing parents of the daily food and drink provided at the facility.

    Observation. Outdoor entrance steps have a loose stone requiring repair. Sandbox cover is deteriorated and requires replacement.

    Observation. Upon discussion with Licensee it was stated that fire drills were not practiced for two months of operation. Discussed the system implemented to ensure fire drills are practiced and documented going forward.

  • C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

    Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records, one required a start date. Attendance records require the Licensee's own child be signed in and out, occasionally a child's attendance record did not have a sign out time indicated. Discussed a system to ensure all children are signed in and out as required.

  • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

    Observation. Upon inspection it was noted that sleep mats are stored in cloth bags hanging touching each other. Discussed options to reduce risk of spread of illness or infection by separating the mats or using an impermeable material between the mats.

  • C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

    Observation. Upon review of fire drill record it was noted that two fire drills were not documented. Discussed the system implemented to ensure fire drills are practiced and documented going forward.
