    Observation. Upon review of all child records it is observed that Other Identifying Information such as height, weight, hair and eye colour are required to be documented. This information is required so that in the event a child goes missing, emergency services has a general description of the child (as well as a photo) to use for identification. purposes. Notify Licensing when the other identifying information has been added to the registration files. Correction to this contravention is due on or by January 23, 2026

    Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records in the facility it was observed that two did not have Medical Practitioner information. If a family does not have a Doctor, list the medical service they would access for illness or injury requiring medical treatment. Outdoor Inspection log, Minor Incident Log, Fire Drill and Emergency Preparedness Plan practice records, and Attendance records all appeared to be complete and up to date upon review.

    Observation. Upon review of documentation, it was noted that the Licensee's First Aide Certificate expired in December 2024. A renewed certificate is required.

    Observation. Upon review of attendance it was noted that one child was signed in prior to arrival. Discussed that children are to be signed in upon arrival and out upon departure. Reviewed minor incident log forms, fire drill record, outdoor inspection record. Discussed that a Shelter-In-Place practice was completed for Emergency Preparedness Practice in 2021, due to poor air quality/heat dome at the time the evacuation is generally practiced.
