    Observation. The AM preschool program ends at 12:00 but children who attend the afternoon preschool session start at 11:45AM. On most days the maximum group size of 19 was exceeded.

  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. Furniture was in disrepair, including 3 wooden tables. Two of the wooden tables had holes on the surface of the table. The holes would make it difficult for the surface to be sanitized. The third wooden table had trim on the side of the table that had been chipped away. All three tables presented rough surfaces that could produce slivers.

    Corrective action. Ensure furniture is in good repair while the children are in attendance
