Observation. Immunization status was not obtained for the volunteer.
Corrective action. The Licensee advised that she will obtain a record of the their immunization status.

Observation. Upon inspection, Licensing observed serval areas in the facility had exposed gyprock.

Observation. Upon inspection, Licensing observed that the fire extinguisher has not been serviced annually. The Manager explained that she was unaware this was to be done annually.
Corrective action. Please ensure fire extinguisher is serviced annually.

Observation. Upon inspection, no records were available for fire drill and emergency drills. The Licensee explained that fire drills are completed monthly, but may not have been documented.
Corrective action. Please ensure current records are available.

A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (b) the courses of action recommended by health care professionals to address the needs of the child requiring extra support.
Observation. Upon review of registration forms, it was found that a child with an identified allergy did not have a care plan available. The Licensee explained that the child is no longer impacted by this. Licensing had a discussion around records being current.
Corrective action. Please ensure each child requiring extra support has a current care plan including the course of action recommended by health care professional.
