  Observation. Licensing observed there to be no immunization status in 3 of the children's files

  Observation. Licensing observed the following; - Fridge temperature in the Infant class was not maintained between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius - Blinds cords at a level accessible to children in the 3-5 classroom and toddler naproom.

  Observation. Licensing observed in the infant bathroom 2 vanity handles to be extremely loose. These handles were observed to held together by a single screw.

  Observation. Upon inspection, one of the classrooms had not recorded or completed a fire drill on 4 out of the past 12 months.

  Corrective action. Please ensure there is a record respecting compliance with section 22(2)(b) and (c).

  Observation. Upon inspection the following was observed: -Fridge temperature not maintained between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius - Nap beds were lined up together with children's bedding touching.

  Observation. Furniture, equipment, and/or fixtures were in disrepair, including: the walls in the under 36 month rooms had chips in the walls in areas that are accessible to children.

  Corrective action. Please ensure the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean an in good repair while children are in attendance.

  A licensee providing a care program to any child younger than 36 months of age must provide a separate sleeping area located away from any activity area.

  Observation. Upon inspection the nap room was being used as storage and the manager said they do not use it at all.

  Corrective action. Please ensure a separate sleeping area is provided to children younger than 36 months and is located away from any activity area.

  Corrective action. Please ensure certificates are verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry.

  Observation. A review of 12 files found that 2 files were missing consent to call to call a medical practitioner or ambulance

  Observation. A review of 8 daily attendance records showed that on 4 of the 8 days there were several children who's departure dates had not been recorded.

  Corrective action. Ensure daily attendance are complete for each day.

  Observation. A review of 6 staff files found that 1 staff did not have a verification of a criminal record check. 5 files contained copies of criminal record checks from previous employment facilities. All employee files had evidence that a criminal record check had been initiated but not yet returned.

  Corrective action. Ensure that each employee has verification of a criminal record check on file in the facility that is specific to this facility prior to commencing work.

  Observation. A review of 6 staff files found that 6 our of 6 files did not have validation of certificates on file. the manager was able to show copies that were sent to her on her phone for a couple of the staff.

  Corrective action. Ensure that each staff file contains verification of certificates through the early childhood educator registry
