- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.
Observation. Licensing observed that the hot water in both sinks that are accessible to children read over 49 degrees Celcius. One being 49.5 and one being 50.5 degrees Celcius. Licensing did observe the staff assisting the children when washing hands for snack time.
Corrective action. Please ensure the hot water remains 49 degrees Celcius or under to ensure safe accessibility for the children during independant handwashing.
