  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.

    Observation. The following was observed: -A window was open more than 4 inches and a lock was not applied. The window screen was loose. -Several blind cords were within easy reach of the children. This was corrected during the inspection -Resources in plastic bags were located at the children's level -Two electrical outlets were missing plug covers. This was corrected during the inspection -A plastic play car was observed on a higher level in the outdoor play area. This must be placed on the lower ground to prevent a potential falling hazard

  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must supply equipment, furniture and supplies that are (b) located so as not to block or hamper an exit in the case of fire or other emergency. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A sleep mat was placed in front of an exit door.
