    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. Licensing observed the following: (a) Bedding in the nap room were touching (b) Diaper cream is placed on the low shelf in the play room accessible to children (c) Fabreeze, essential oil,and face wash placed on a shelf accessible to children in the play room

    Corrective action. Licensee stated the following: (a) she will separate the beds so the bedding doesn't touch (b) she will place the diaper creams on the top of the highest shelf out of reach of children (c) she will place items on the top of the high shelf and cover the cubby to keep away from children

    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. Licensing observed a piece of climbing equipment (indoors) that had duct tape on the slide due to a crack.

    Corrective action. Please ensure all furniture and equipment are clean and in good repair. Licensee stated they will remove the equipment.
