Observation. The hot water in the new addition is 62 degrees Celsius and therefore poses a risk of scalding. The Child Care Licensing Regulation states that any heated water accessible to children must not be more than 49 degrees Celsius. Licensing must receive written confirmation that water accessible to children does not exceed 49 degrees Celsius prior to the issuance of an amended licence.

Observation. Attendance records were reviewed at random. Time of departure was not consistently recorded for all children in care. The Child Care Licensing Regulation requires that both arrival and departure times be recorded daily for all children in care. The purpose is to ensure accurate record keeping and to be prepared in the event of an emergency. Licensing must receive written confirmation that daily arrival and departure times for all children are being recorded daily no later than December 10, 2025.

Please find alternate method of storing cleaning products if latch cannot be kept locked consistently when products are not being used.
