Observation. An audit of minor incident log, Licensing observed parent notification of incidents was not noted. The Licensee indicated she tells the parents but was unaware she needed to record this information. The Licensee corrected this during the inspection but recording this information in her log of incidents.
Corrective action. Ensure a record of parent notifications re incidents is kept. Action/s Required by Licensing: Follow Up Inspection
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(g) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner (doctor's name and number does not apply to REC only) and emergency contact
Observation. Three children's files audited. One child's file was missing doctor name and phone number.
Corrective action. Ensure doctor name (walk in clinic) and phone number is noted for each child in care. Action/s Required by Licensing: Follow Up Inspection to be conducted.
