Observation. Licensing observed that a practiced emergency drill had not been recorded for both Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) programs. Item corrected at time of inspection.
Corrective action. Ensure a record is kept respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c).
3020 - CCLR 56(1)(c) - A licensee must ensure that safe drinking water is available to children.
Observation. Licensing observed that a Corrective Action Plan to mitigate the risk of lead in water was not being followed. Specifically, the water flushes for April 11 to 17, 2024 had not been recorded. Manager stated the flushes had been conducted but not recorded, item was corrected at time of inspection.
Corrective action. Ensure that safe drinking water is available to children.
3050 - CCLR 48(5) - A licensee must do all of the following:(b) operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care
Observation. Licensing observed that a Corrective Action Plan to mitigate the risk of lead in water was not being followed. Specifically, the flushes for April 11 to 17 2024 had not been recorded. Manager stated the flushes had been conducted but not recorded, item corrected at time of inspection.

Observation. Licensing audited attendace records for the month of April , 2024 and observed a blank record on April 9, 2024 that did not indicate if a child was absent or present and a record for April 15, 2024 that did not show time of departure for a child in care.
Corrective action. Ensure a record is kept for each child showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.
