The staff moved the toilets, one of which had urine in it, into the hallway and continued to handle children's food without washing their hands.   Observation. Licensing reviewed six children's files. One file contained an outdated photograph of the child.

  Corrective action. Ensure a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency is kept for each child.

• A licensee must have in writing from a parent, and maintain at the community care facility, consent (b) to release a child to someone other than the parent.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed six children's files. One file did not contain consent to release to someone other than a parent.

  Corrective action. Ensure written consent is obtained from a parent, and maintain at the community care facility to release a child to someone other than the parent.

• A licensee must do all of the following:(b) operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care

  Observation. Licensing observed that six children had been signed into care on February 16, 2022. Licensee stated that the six child was not in care very long because he was upset. Licensee stated that there must have been a mistake in her record keeping as she never exceeded the maximum capacity of five children as per imposed conditions.

  Corrective action. Ensure the community care facility is operated in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care.
